HOW I WORK

As a community builder, facilitator and curator I will meet you at the learning edge of your challenges.

Shaping new narratives

We will inhabit expansive spaces to tell different stories and weave new narratives. I work with people and organisations that are committed to being part of the solution, rather than the problem. Co-created, open, brave space is the richest soil for emergent thinking, new patterns and abundant community connections.

Connections and communities

In community we share and empathise. We build compassion and we connect to one another. We help each other, we share our resources, our ideas, our creativity. We learn from one another. We laugh, create a shared culture, we grow and expand our minds and ultimately, our beliefs about what is possible.

Leadership of co-creation and care

We will share in the process of building a strong, committed and enthusiastic community to make your vision a reality. My highest aim is to guide you until the routes, traps and fruits of co-creation are familiar enough that you won’t need a guide at all.

The natural world

Together, we will deepen our understanding, connection and relationship with the natural world.

There are levels of communication and learning beyond rationality and logical thinking. Together we will take learnings from nature, spending time with our feet in the soil, wind on our skin, getting out of the meeting room and into the fields.

Transformational experiences

It is my experience that new ways of ‘being’ lead to transformation. Our work will nurture a new way of leadership, which is based on collaboration, co-creation, empathy, care and regenerative practices.

By working with diverse teams, individuals and projects, we will develop and value the voices of the many, not the few.

'In 2021, Stella hosted a 6-month peer-led learning marathon, which I took part in. From day one, Stella created a safe and joy-filled space for learning. It is a testament to her seemingly effortless skill as a host that a group of very different people grew into a close-knit community, where each person felt accepted and valued.

We explored 'learning questions' across a broad range of topics. Stella was able to adjust her coaching style to each person’s approach, empathise with their experience and offer perceptive suggestions to stretch their thinking - her library is encyclopaedic!

Personally, taking part in the learning marathon allowed me to reconnect with my curiosity, creativity and the things that are important to me in life. It was surprising, affirming and, I can honestly say, deeply moving to be a part of it.'
